Your tires will likely need to be replaced after six to 10 years. However, it is important to inspect them regularly in order to determine whether they have any problems. The tread is something that you need to look at. Newer cars have something called a tread bar. If the tires are new, then the bar will not be visible. It will gradually start to appear as the tread starts to wear out. You can also perform a penny test to determine how much tread your tires have.

Put the penny head down. If you are able to see Lincoln head's, then your tread is worn out. The tires have to be replaced once the tread is worn out. Additionally, you should look for blisters and bulges on your tire. A bulge or blister can cause your tires to blow out.
